Welcome to the Economic Development Program at the Bureau of Business Research.  The Bureau is part of the IC² Institute at The University of Texas at Austin. The goals of the Economic Development Program are twofold: first, to disseminate knowledge that will lead to policies and strategies likely to make Texas a more competitive and equitable state, and, second, to increase the visibility of the university and the IC² Institute in the area of economic development to public officials, business leaders, the media, and citizens, especially in Texas, but also worldwide.
