IC² Institute's Fellows and Scholars comprise an international network of people and intellectual capital formed over three decades of global research. GLOBAL FELLOWS: Including the Endowed Fellows, the IC² Institute has established an intellectual network of over 240 international fellows. This network includes peers of the Institute from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, England, Portugal, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Russia, Israel, China, Japan, Singapore, and Australia. VISITING SCHOLARS: The IC² Institute mentors select scholars and industry professionals to research and write in residence for one year. The Institute has hosted over 100 visiting scholars from 16 countries. STUDY ABROAD: The IC2 Institute coordinates two student exchange programs at The University of Texas at Austin, the U.S.-Brazil Sustainability Consortium (USBSC) and the North American Sustainability, Housing, and Community Consortium (NASHCC). Both programs promote sustainable community and construction practices. ENDOWED FELLOWS: To promote cutting edge research in science and technology and to strengthen ties within the University, the IC² Institute subsidizes the research of 18 professors at The University of Texas at Austin. |
