The IC² Institute has active global programs in: India, Jordan, Poland, Malaysia, Mexico, Hungary, and Kazakhstan. Through these programs, IC² Institute researches solutions to leading-edge problems, and implements those solutions with result-oriented action and education. The IC² Institute has devoted 30 years to research in technology commercialization and entrepreneurship education. A worldwide leader in economic development, IC² has played an integral role in the growth of Austin over the past 30 years and its transition to a model "technopolis." The Institute's Global Commercialization program provides emerging regions with a systematic and coordinated projection of IC²'s combined resources to accelerate economic growth: beginning with regional analyses, and proceeding with entrepreneurship education and technology business incubation. Technology Commercialization within Enterprises The Global Commercialization program also provides education for managers of high tech corporations, entrepreneurs, and technologists. These education programs enable managers to better exploit intangible assets (such as unlicensed IP) to create value, as they examine new strategies for on-the-shelf technologies. As managers establish decision processes for technology transfer, the result is increased company intrapreneurship: new products and services, delivered to new markets.
