UT Student Intern Program
GCG runs a student intern program for graduate students in various disciplines at UT-Austin, benefiting both students and programs.

The Global Commercialization Group facilitates the growth and development of innovative technology-based businesses in a variety of regions worldwide. GCG programs simultaneously provide commercialization know-how to local partner organizations while proactively moving science and innovation from the region into international markets.
This dual approach to economic development results in sustainable wealth-creating systems with measurable results in international business. Within a year or less, a GCG program will deliver international transactions for new businesses and trained managers to carry on the business of moving technologies to the marketplace. When a GCG programs is extended for multiple years, the region benefits even more from a build-up of a network of entrepreneurs and tech transfer professionals and organizations.
Since 2001, GCG has created and delivered a multitude of programs in eighteen different countries. Program design is informed by thirty-six years of research and methodology development at The University of Texas at Austin’s IC² Institute. GCG continues to look for new opportunities to implement this knowledge and create positive economic results around the world.
