LEN DENTON
Len Denton designs and manages technology commercialization programs for the IC2 Institute at The University of Texas at Austin. His programs accomplish the Institute’s goal of economic growth and development through technology commercialization for countries, regions and organizations. The focus of Len’s current activity is leadership of the Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Program. This program, sponsored by the Lockheed Martin Company, is designed to encourage and stimulate Indian early-stage technical innovations. Working closely with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the Program will identify new innovations, train entrepreneurs and inventors and accelerate new businesses into global markets. Len’s other engagements for the IC2 Institute involved commercialization programs in Poland, Mexico and Hungary. Prior to joining the IC2 Institute, Len was an engineering executive with US Fortune 100 companies. He has more than 25 years of hand-on experience of envisioning, shaping and managing technologies and their markets.
